I am a BPC registered psychotherapist and counsellor working in Cambridge.

Since completing my training and qualifying with WPF Therapy in 2007 I have developed a busy private practice working with people with a wide range of issues. I work primarily with the psychodynamic model which means looking at how the past impacts on the present. However, I also use cognitive and behavioural techniques to help clients with specific issues.

I work primarily with adult individuals, from 18 years of age. I have wide experience working with undergraduates as well as PhD students and post docs as well. I spent a number of years supporting students at St Catharine’s College. I am involved in working with many individuals wrestling with relationship challenges, illness, family stresses and anxiety and concern for climate change and the huge impact of AI in our lives. I am currently working Tuesday through Thursday with clients in person in my consulting room.

If you have ever asked yourself any of these questions then it can be helpful to spend time with a therapist who can help provide insight and confront destructive patterns of behaviour, to provide a place to be heard and to offer a non judgemental perspective. As a psychodynamic counsellor I work with individuals to identify patterns of behaviour that may have been established since early childhood, to provide fresh insight and help you to address issues of which you might not even be aware.

There is some flexibility in my fees, which we will discuss together when we first meet. My standard fee range is £80-£95.

I completed the diploma and the advanced certificate in psychodynamic psychotherapy and counselling at WPF in London, one of the UK’s leading counselling, therapy, psychotherapy and group therapy training organisations. My consulting room in Cambridge is on King’s Parade.

I work with some clients online, but prefer to meet regularly in person if at all possible.
